“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16
Lisa offers Christ-centered coaching sessions that gently guide individuals into the presence of Jesus through prayer. In a safe and non-judgmental environment, she helps create space for the Holy Spirit to shine God’s light on the heart—bringing awareness to sin, wounds, hurts, past traumas, and false beliefs. Through prayer, individuals are invited to release their burdens to Jesus and receive His truth, peace, and healing.
Through this Spiritual Life Coaching ministry, many individuals have experienced greater healing and freedom in Christ and have overcome emotional pain, discouragement, physical discomfort, financial strain, feelings of rejection or abandonment, and relational challenges. Spiritual Life Coaching FAQ
What is spiritual life coaching?
Spiritual Life Coaching is a Christ-centered discipleship ministry that gently guides individuals into the presence of Jesus through prayer. Sessions focus on listening to the Holy Spirit, allowing Jesus to bring His light to the heart, and inviting Him to reveal and heal emotional wounds, burdens, and false beliefs. Lisa serves as a prayer guide, helping create a safe and non-condemning space for individuals to encounter Jesus and receive His healing and freedom.
What happens during a session?
Each session is centered on prayer and attentive listening. Lisa helps guide individuals into prayer with Jesus, inviting the Holy Spirit to reveal areas of the heart that may need to be addressed—such as unforgiveness, emotional wounds, or burdens being carried. Individuals are gently encouraged to bring these areas to Jesus, release them to Him, and receive His truth, peace, and restoration. Often the Holy Spirit then guides them to take an action of obedience. or shows them how they can practically live out a Biblical principle.
Are the sessions done in person?
Coaching sessions are done in person, over a phone call, FaceTime or Soom, depending on the preference of the one being coached.
Is this the same as counseling or therapy?
No. Spiritual Life Coaching is a spiritual ministry and is not medical, psychological, or professional counseling. Lisa does not diagnose conditions or provide clinical treatment. These sessions are intended to offer spiritual encouragement and prayer support, and may complement—but not replace—licensed professional care.
Who can benefit from Spiritual Life Coaching?
Anyone seeking deeper connection with Jesus, spiritual healing, or freedom from burdens may benefit. Many come during seasons of emotional pain, discouragement, relational challenges, or when they sense God inviting them into deeper healing through prayer.
What if I am dealing with trauma, mental health issues, or medical concerns?
Spiritual Life Coaching can be a meaningful spiritual support, but it should not replace appropriate professional care. Individuals experiencing significant mental health concerns, medical conditions, or crisis situations (including suicidal thoughts) are strongly encouraged to seek help from licensed professionals and local emergency resources in addition to prayer.
Is the environment safe and non-judgmental?
Yes. Sessions are conducted in a compassionate, Christ-centered, and non-condemning atmosphere. There is no pressure to perform, disclose more than you are comfortable with, or reach a certain outcome. Jesus leads the process.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. What is shared during sessions is treated with care and confidentiality, except where disclosure may be required by law or for safety reasons.
How long is a session?
Sessions typically last about 60 minutes.
Is there a cost for a session?
The cost is $50 per session, but we have generous sponsors who help us offer sessions for whatever one can afford. Your tax-deductible gift helps sustain this nonprofit ministry and support the time and preparation involved. No one will be turned away due to inability to give.
